Professional experience

 

Since 1997 :  Head of Research Unit WAVE 

Head of the FTRD research unit dedicated to the interaction of electromagnetic waves with humans (Unit set up in 1997) . The research unit is composed of 10 permanent staff members and 5 PhD students The RD unit Wave is  dedicated to dosimetry, expertise and technical support to France Telecom. Since 1994 the RD unit organises in December a National scientific day dedicated to EMF and Health. Personal researches conducted cover electromagnetism applied to telecommunication, numerical methods and statistic applied to electromagnetism, dosimetry and exposure assessment.

1995-1997      Senior Researcher in EMC (electromagnetic compatibility)

From 1995 to 1997 research in numerical dosimetry and EMC. Responsible of Research Programme dedicated to biolectromagnetism at CNET. During this period personal research have been focussed on Electromagnetic interference with medical equipment and numerical dosimetry using FDTD.

1992-1995      Researcher in urban radio wave propagation

From 1992 to 1995 responsible of research on wave propagation in urban area. During this period the personal research has been focussed on asymptotic methods (GTD, UTD, multiple diffraction, slope diffraction) applied to wave propagation in urban area. A micro cellular urban propagation model has been developed and implemented in France Telecom Mobile planning tools
